Both Dr. Farnsworth and Dr. Kienlen have extensive experience conducting evaluations pursuant to the Minnesota Commitment Statutes (253B) to determine whether or not a respondent meets the criteria for Civil Commitment as Mentally Ill, Mentally Ill and Dangerous, Chemically Dependent, and Developmentally Disabled. 

In addition, we are experienced in the evaluation of persons petitioned for Sexually Dangerous Person and Psychopathic Personality commitments.  As the former medical director of the Minnesota Security Hospital, Minnesota Sex Offender Program, and Minnesota Extended Treatment Options, Dr. Farnsworth completely re-designed the mental health services delivery treatment programs for mentally ill and dangerous, sex offender, and developmentally disabled populations.
